The FERI Certificate (Fiche Electronique de Renseignement à l’importation)  is an electronic document required to clear imported goods to the Democratic Republic of Congo ( DRC)

Required documents and information :

• Bill of Lading / Road Manifest Or Air Way bill
• Commercial invoice
• A Freight Invoice is not required if the freight value is mentioned in the commercial invoice, (unless it is requested by Ogefrem Head office for verification).
• FXI Number ( Folder Expedition Inbound) it is provided by the importer
• H.S. Code
• FERI FORM

Procedure

• Submit the required documents by email or online submission.
• You will receive an invoice with attached draft, typically within the same day.
• Once your payment has been received and you approve the draft, a validation will be sent.

Timeline

• The FERI must be validated before the vessel arrives at the destination, to avoid the fines.
• The process can typically be done within 24 hours after receipt of payment.
